Example of the cocoa and coffee industry
Objective
This workshop will address the sustainability of the cocoa and coffee sectors. A particular focus will be
put on the issues of forest preservation, market access and producer income. The objective is to bring
together representatives from the value chain (producers, exporters, processors, institutions) to
promote sustainable agricultural practices and to bring out practical solutions to improve producer
income. The speakers will share their expertise and unique experience in order to provide
stakeholders with a better understanding of the issues at stake and to propose relevant solutions.
