Where is the conference taking place?

The conference will take place at the Radisson Blue hotel in Libreville, Gabon.

How to attend the One Forest Summit?

The One Forest Summit is a closed event. To attend, you must officially register at https://oneforestsummit.com/

How to register for the One Forest Summit?

Registration for this event can be done online at this address https://oneforestsummit.com/en/.There are three types regirstration forms: As a delegation, as a participant or a press. Please select the registration category that suits you. Once the online registration is complete, a confirmation will be submitted to you within 72 hours.
 

Is it possible to participate in the summit online?

Yes, the opening and closing ceremonies of the summit will be broadcast live online on the One Forest Summit media site (www.oneforestsummitmedia.com). The list of events that will be broadcast live will be communicated shortly.

How will transportation be arranged from the airport to the hotel?

A shuttle service between the airport and partner hotels (see partner hotels onhttps://oneforestsummit.com/hotels/) will be provided from February 23rd to March 8th. If you are not staying at one of the partner hotels, you can take the shuttle to a designated hotel and then take a taxi to your hotel. Otherwise, you will need to make your own arrangements for transportation from the airport to your hotel. More information on the shuttle service schedule will be communicated later.

Transport from the conference center to your hotel

After the close of daily activities on each day of the One Forest Summit, a shuttle service will be provided between the Radisson Blue and the partner hotels every 30 minutes.

What should I do if I arrive before February 23?

All OFS participants will receive an entry permit and visa valid from February 23rd to March 8th Anyone arriving in Gabon during this period will have no problem entering the territory. People wishing to arrive/leave Gabonese territory beyond this period must contact Gabonese immigration: https://www.dgdi.ga/e-visa/

Is it possible to obtain an entry visa on arrival at Libreville airport?

Visas on arrival are not available at Libreville airport. All travelers must have their visa or an entry permit before boarding their flight to Gabon. For more information visit www.dgdi.ga/e-visa/

Do I need a visa to enter Gabon?

All OFS participants will receive an entry permit and visa valid from February 23rd to March 8th. A valid visa or entry permit is required to enter Gabon and must be obtained before embarking for Gabon.  Please consult the website https://oneforestsummit.com for the list of countries requiring a visa to enter Gabon.

How will I receive my entry permit to Gabon?

Once you have registered online, a confirmation of registration will be sent to you with your authorization to enter Gabon. This entry permit will be valid from February 23rd to March 8th, 2023.

General information about Gabon:

Currency and methods of payment: The Central African CFA franc (FCFA) is the official currency of Gabon. It is divided into 100 smaller units called pennies. Gabon is largely a cash economy and credit cards are only accepted in some major hotels. The exchange rate is 1000 Fcfa = €1.53

Language: French is the official language spoken in Gabon.

Climate and Weather: Gabon has a tropical climate. Average temperatures range between 26 and 32 degrees Celsius (79 and 90 degrees Fahrenheit), making Gabon hot and humid all year round. The period from June to August is usually slightly cooler, while in the months of March and April the highest temperatures are usually measured.

Communication: SIM cards (airtel, libertis) are sold in supplier stores. As a tourist, you will need to provide two copies of your passport and visa.
